What
We Do

BlackSheep in the Community is dedicated to helping you help your community. We have created an online directory that lists organizations offering volunteer opportunities. By providing logistics on service events from a variety of nonprofits, we connect community members who have a heart for helping others.

We are starting with a focus on Roswell, Marietta, Woodstock, Alpharetta, and surrounding areas in Georgia.e

About Us

Welcome to BlackSheep in the Community. We aim to connect people across the span of generations and cultures through a common purpose of helping others. Why ‘BlackSheep’? Check out the origin here.

We are incredibly grateful for the service organizations and volunteers already at work in our community. That said, we know it can be difficult for these two separate entities to find each other. With our accessible database of service opportunities, BlackSheep in the Community aims to connect a diverse group of volunteers and organizations so they can make a difference, together.

serve your
community

At BlackSheep in the Community, we believe service is so much more than checking a box. To us, service is ultimately about love. It’s about loving other people and creating harmony across cultural, economic, or social divides. As you volunteer or donate to local communities, it is important to adopt a posture of humility and remember that your acts of care will enrich your own life in addition to the lives of others.
