BlackSheep In The Community was started by BlackSheep Productions in 2023 as an extension of the commitment to make a difference in the world in which we live. We are grateful for service organizations and volunteers across various communities and we are committed to providing a free platform to connect the two.

We believe in the beauty of each unique individual – as well as the power of people coming together to work towards a common cause. We further believe that as people from diverse backgrounds come together through service, bridges and connections are built that can heal social wounds and bring our communities closer together.

How to Volunteer

At BlackSheep in the Community, we believe service is so much more than checking a box. To us, service is ultimately about love. It’s about viewing other people as honored friends, treating them as guests when they enter our spaces, and viewing ourselves as guests when we enter theirs. That’s why we believe each volunteer should adopt a posture of humility–and realize that any acts of care may very well enrich their own life more than those they are serving.

Our parent company, BlackSheep Productions, is a corporate event planning company based in north Atlanta. BlackSheep Productions exists to make a difference for our clients and their key stakeholders, our BlackSheep family, the Live Events Industry—and our world. To that end, we created BlackSheep in the Community to provide people (starting in Roswell, Marietta, and the surrounding areas) with an accessible database of service opportunities so they can make their own difference in their community.
